Project completed in Summer of 2024.
The problem: The City of Goshen needed a new industrial park roadway and utilities.
The solution/work performed: Construction of deep sanitary sewer and 6″ laterals, with 35′ deep lift station, controls, telemetry, and generator. Also included with this project was erosion control, 12″ water main and fire hydrants, 4″ domestic services and 8″ fire services, 12″ through 60″ RCP storm sewer with inlets, manholes, end sections, and rip rap. This project also required subgrade treatment, curbs, drives, HMA paving, topsoil, and seeding.
What was interesting about this project: The deep sewer system required dewatering to lower the groundwater level before we were able to start its installation on this 60-acre site. HRP coordinated and worked with various other contractors that were also starting construction on new large manufacturing buildings.
