Anticipated completion Fall 2025
The problem: The existing 1.5 million gallon storage tank is failing and not able to store the needed amount of water in the pumping district it serves in the heart of Mishawaka.
The solution/work in progress: Construction of a concrete 1.5 million gallon storage tank and rerouting of the 36-inch water main to and from the water plant on the site. The project has various site improvements to make the water plant and tank more appealing to the golfers on the course.
What is interesting about this project: Being part of another storage tank for the City of Mishawaka’s water needs is really unique. HRP Construction has been a part of the City’s water system/storage/treatment in three of the City’s water districts. Improvements at the DP district, construction of this water storage tank at Virgil WTP, and assisting in the construction of the new Juday Creek WTP is very impressive and important to the City’s customers.
